Hit an old farm homestead local to my office. Found some interesting relics and then an unopened Easter Egg.

It was fairly heavy and rang in the gold zone so I opened it thinking maybe some old nickels but found these 2 small heavy plastic balls, cracked one open to reveal a lead ball?? Not a great toy for kids.
Also finally found an old coin, 1913 wheat. There has to be more coins here but when they leveled the buildings they spread trash everywhere, iron signals galor.

Other recoveries included coin silver plated spoon, silver plated yellow glass bangle, a skeleton key, old razor assembly and my first hand saw medallion. "Warranted Extra, 1867".

Good luck this weekend, pray for no snow!

Cool ! & Yep I found a pretty Rotten one once & occasionally the Plastics.

anyway.. Nice Finds !

There is a park in a town nearby that the city worker told me they hide dollar coins in the plastic eggs and kids always miss some, I hope to find some, one of these days.

Heck I couldn't find Easter eggs on Easter morning if I tried, LOL. Great finds, congrats!

When I was a kid, we would usually find an egg or two while raking leaves in the fall.

Cool relic hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:
