My father passed away last April at the age of 60 from brain cancer. We only had him in hospice for a couple of days before taking him home to die there. Not just hospice staff, but nurses who have to deal with the dying and their families on a daily basis are without a doubt, heroes. They deserve to be among the highest paid workers, in my opinion.
