I'm not any kind of guru or treasure slayer, but proof is at the end of the year - the delights one finds.

I went out for 52 hunts in 2017, both dirt digging and water scooping.

In total I found 1208 coins for $82.76, with 6 foreign coins and 7 wheats.

I found 12 pieces of silver jewelry and 1 gold (my first since 1987). I didn't find any silver coins. I did find 25 pieces of junk jewelry in addition to the precious metals. So for me, most of my delights were junk, 2 to 1 ratio.

This is just proof that even if you have no real honey spots, if you just keep going out you'll find things - and you'll find delightful things :)

Once we're out of Siberia here, 2018 begins! Keep the faith and keep hunting!

Those are some cool finds. I like the rings

Wesome finds!

That belly ring is huge! You have the whole thing including the back post that one must of hurt when it came off/out.

May 2018 be even better for you and thanx again for the deal!

GL & HH in 2018

You've got some beautiful pieces of jewelry there! Well done. Hope 2018 is even more productive.

Is this land or water finds? Looks like wet ones. Hope your new year is more productive.

Looks like an awesome year to me. Great job...love the Cross!

Deepseeker, looks like a nice year and sounds like a decent 2017 with hopes for a better 2018. Yeah, let's move Siberia out of here but guess it could be worse and could be with all of those that are being hit by the Nor'easter. Hope it swings out to sea soon and spares too much damage to the coastal areas and north. As for finds bring on 2018 and let's see what is shown at the end of the year!:icon_thumright:

congrats on a great year!

Looks like you had a fun and productive year Deepseeker. I remeber your post concerning the gold. Glad you broke the drought. Looking forward to seeing all your bucket list finds in 2018. Good Luck

Thanks :)

8 pieces of silver jewelry and the one gold find were dirt digging at parks. The 5 pieces of silver jewelry were in the water. First time I'd looked at it that way, more in the dirt than in the water. Looking back at the type of hunts through the year, it was pretty even dirt versus water.

I'd have actually thought water would have been better for good stuff.... Next year it may be different, but I'll start the water hunts with a new push button mod to my Excal :)

My brother was over my shoulder as I was posting the initial, and as we looked things to post he kept asking me "values".

I look at life differently from him, maybe my most valuable find in 2017 was that cross. It gives me a comfort silver and gold can never give. When one has faith, one will always find a peace with that.

Some fine jewelry and bling here mate. Nice to know you slayed the Gold Drought demon!:whip2: Here's to more precious metals aligning with your coil in 2018. Keep the FAITH!:icon_salut:

Excellent year. Many congrats. I’d say you’re very lucky. Cheers

Sure looks like you had a spectacular year. 2018 will be even better!!
