escudo update two

Hi Peg Leg,

as stated I'm a newbie. i use vinegar to clean stains off of coins i find in parks. never had a "gold" one before so i tried the vinegar on it. after showing me what real escudos look like they and i were curious as to what my "coin" was made of so they tried a magnet to see if it was plated steel.

eveything was on the up and up.

Welcome to the forum. I sure wish the escudo was real, but keep at it and one day you'll find the genuine thing 8)

A tip on posting...don't keep starting new threads. Keep your replies and updates on the same thread you began with. It's hard to go back and read the original thoughts when they're on other threads.
