Equinox finds a keeper...

Finally made it to the beach this morning.. after an an hour I hit a loud solid 21.. probably not a penny.

I took one scoop with the shovel and find this owl.. attached to a chain..it was kind of buried so I slowly pulled and moved the sand out of the way.

What a heart stopper,.. WoW.. was I surprised.... well I looked for a hallmark but could only find gld.. Whats gld stamp I thought.. After looking on the web I

found the answer... its gold plated (18K). I had a jeweler verify my findings.. sure enough not the real deal. If it was real it would have been a home run......

It was still a great day.. what a surprise.....Thanks for looking..

I tired to rotate the pics but didn't have any luck.. sorry..
