Hey Hey,

I make it a point to visit the local Goodwill at least twice a day. I stopped by after work and bumped into the manager. I asked "any new jewelry coming out tonight"? He said he had some, and that he was going to go through it and bring it out in a little while. "Cool, I'll hang around", I said. He brought 3 trays and I had first dibs on them.

First off, the receipt:

Item 1
A necklace that had something on the clasp, but I didn't have my loop on me. Upon further inspection, it says "KOREA". Wonderful.

Item 2
A sterling silver ring:

Brace yourself....

Item 3
14K gold ring:

Now you really need to make sure you are sitting down...

Item 4
A 24" long 14K necklace (marked "ITALY")

Way to work it!!!!:headbang:

Damn good deal!!!

That.... is awesome. I dunno about going to Goodwill twice per day... but it paid off.

I never thought about that I live in a very rich neighbor hood not me though lol and we have a few goodwills here I may hit them up

I'm happy if I can find some nice shirts on .99 cent day from the Goodwill. :laughing7:Thats an awesome find on gold! :icon_thumleft:

Not to rain on your parade, but get that necklace checked.... that 14k Italy mark is commonly faked. I hope it's real for you, and good work at the Goodwill!

Holy... cow!!! congrats on such a great deal, it sure does pay to check there twice a day, that really is AU-some!!! ;)
hope there are many, many more great finds for you my friend, keep up the search! I know some things can be AG-rivating, but anything AU-some sure makes up for it ;)

Just think, if it was senior day you would have gotten them at 50% off! LOL

Love, love, love your finds. Congrats on the silver and gold!

I picked the exact same kind of necklace at a yard sale recently. 24 inch. Marked 10k ITALY. Thought I hit it big. It was a fake.

Good point NOLA. I'll head down to our Jeweler!

yep found a 14K italy marked 24 inch herringbone type chain just like it at the beach a bit back -- thought I did good till the pawn shop acid fried off the 14k gold plate coating revealing the copper under it

UPDATE: Well guys, they're fake! UGH!!
