You are being way too rational. If you had posted a massive Obama rant no one would have questioned your post at all. The opposition to your post has nothing to do you are from Canada and everything to do that it was not screaming pro-gun.

I'm not trying to be an arse but can you please relay that in a different set of words please? I do not understand where you are going with this statement "The opposition to your post has nothing to do you are from Canada and everything to do that it was not screaming pro-gun". I have been told by a Mod that this is an international site and that the 2ND is a forum that is allowed on here by the site owners. That being said, I am curious as to why US citizens are so quick to dismiss dialogue from a citizen of another country on this forum? Personally I signed up to this site for the what the name of it implies and nothing to do with firearms and political jargon. I have a strong opinion on guns and gun control and just got sucked into this forum.

You will find that many of the vocal posters on this forum are extremely pro gun. People that take or support anything other than a very pro gun stance are generally met with responses like your a liberal, unamerican, not a patriot, head in sand etc etc. hence the response you recieved to your post.

So in the end this is really an pro-2nd site and other views or opinions need not apply. Hopefully that's a bit better of an explanation.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree with you statement 100% and I have read enough threads on this forum to gather what you mean as this being a pro 2nd, pro gun forum. I guess since this is and international site there will be no way to silence views by other people from different countries although I have noticed a few posts of mine do disappear like magic.

Welcome to the Vacuum! I keep telling myself I am going to stay out of these conversations and then I just get SUCKED back in. It is like a drug. I keep saying to myself, "This is the last time, this is the last time!" Then I always go back for more. It only becomes a problem when it interferes with your family life. There have been a couple of times when my wife had to pry the computer out of my hands.

My advice, for what it is worth: Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. Try not to take anything people say personally unless it is a direct insult to you...then respond with avengance. I have a lot of posts deleted as well. It is all part of the debate. I don't get mad when a post gets deleted; instead, I think, "How could I have phrased that differently?" Then I try again.
