A treasure trove of flakes. Nice asymmetrical point. The site must have been a workingsite for a stone tool knapper. I presume it was an aboriginal village you were scouting. I'll bet it was worth the inconvenience of sliding into the river!
 

It's a huge area and I've only walked it twice but on the way out yesterday evening I found the concentration of the good stuff. I think it's mostly Archaic. But I picked up several points but I just posted a few that fit in the lid lol
 

Spent the day hunting a village and racked up on a few points. It was a good day. At least it was until I slipped down the bank of the river. I'm assuming that the chrionoid stem was used as a game piece. One side has a G or C in the middle and the other has a star. Can't forget the bone awl I found !
