Circa - "older than God".
Origin - "Sleipnir" Norse God Odin's 8 legged horse.
Value - Full set- priceless. Single - 10 bob.
Advice - Keep looking my son!

19cm widest, 15cm at the open end

Internal or external? It all depends on this :laughing9:

Only 19.55mm, it looked bigger in the pic. You must have very small hands :laughing9:

Course I do :icon_thumleft: And I got a cartwheel....so there :laughing7:

shire, we have a guy in lorain county raises them. the hooves are like 5 gallon buckets, strong as a train but gentle as a lamb. the horse would not even fit in the draft hose stalls at the fair, it had to turn its head and its butt was against the gate. they finally let him turn them around and its head was half way across the walkway. he has 2 that can pull a 3 bottom plow. for those of you that dont know horsepower was not figured using draft horses, they used light horses.

totally cool.

We don't have any shires around here any more, but we do have Friesians. Lovely animals, and very big too. This isn't one of my pics, I'm on the wrong computer for that, but this animal is very similar to Troy, a babe of a horse, and I will post his pics tomorrow
