Well I built my first electrolysis device using an old cord for a rechargeable electric shaver. The output information indicated 15 volts and 350 mamps. It was very simple and worked well (lots of bubbles on the coin). I left the coin in solution for only a couple of 30 sec - 1 min rounds. The water got really dirty quickly, but I still can't see any information on the coin. I guess I have nothing to lose by letting it stay longer. The coin came from a plantation cane field and could be anything from 100 + years. Any advice?
