What are you using to polish them? And is there any correlation to size of relic to amount of water. Seems like some people are using a big container for a small relic such as coins. Thanks

I use a cleaner for glass stove tops. Pretty abrasive so don't use on any key dates or valuable items. But it works good

I usually fill my container half way with water. No measurements at all

Well I built my first electrolysis device using an old cord for a rechargeable electric shaver. The output information indicated 15 volts and 350 mamps. It was very simple and worked well. I left the coin in solution for only a couple of 30 sec - 1 min rounds. The water got really dirty quickly, but I still can't see any information on the coin. I guess I have nothing to lose by letting it stay long. Any advice?

I use my car battery charger for mine. The the 3 mamp works well for most things. If it's really crusty, I bump it up to the quick charge. Most things take 1 to 5 min. Kevin
