After the overwhelming success in the recall efforts of two anti-gun state senators in Colorado last month, organizers are setting their sights on a third anti-gun senator.According to the Denver Post, recall activists are beginning to gather signatures to recall state senator Evie Hudak.

Hudak was a staunch supporter of the strict gun control laws passed earlier this year in Colorado.

Hudak also famously told a young, female gun activist, who wanted to carry a gun for protection against sexual assault that a gun would do her no good in protecting her from a rape and she was more likely to have the gun used against her in a sexual assault (see video below).

According to the Denver Post,
Hudak’s metro-area district mirrors Morse’s in that it’s divided into thirds among Democrats, Republicans and unaffiliated voters. Hudak won the seat in 2012 by about 580 votes with a third-party candidate on the ballot.

“A small group is seeking to undo the will of voters, who re-elected me to the Senate last November. Unable to defeat me then, they are now attempting a political power grab using a low-voter-turnout, no-mail-ballot recall election strategy,” Hudak said in a statement, alluding to a Denver District Court judge’s ruling on a constitutional matter that in turn nullified mail ballots in the recalls of Morse and Giron.
Based on the makeup of her district, it sounds like a recall effort could be effective, especially since she won with such a narrow margin with a third party candidate on the ballot.
In September, both Senate President John Morse and rookie Senator Angela Giron, were both recalled due to their support of strict gun control laws earlier in the year.

It always amazes me that a politician with a big mouth always screams about illegalities when faced with being subject to the wishes of the voters. The recall is perfectly legal, but you'd think she was a victim to listen to her.

That is because she is scared Jim, she knows her days are numbered...

Way to go Colorado - Sure wish we would recall our 2 senators from Minnesota. We actually voted in a Clown - Al Franken

What's next, a fake wrestler for a Governor?

Always wondered how that goof won. A lot of dead people voted then.
