EDWARD111 SILVER HOARD

What a fantastic find!

In the U.S. years ago we had the "GHOST BUSTERS", but I think that Tyre Kicker can now be called an Honorary GROAT BUSTER!!

I am sorry, I just could not resist!!! Those are aw some! I realize that we don't do it for the money, but, what would you guess to be the value (USD) of that group of groats?

Thanks!~ Bob

Banner All The Way!!

Congrats, Tyre!! This is why we do what we do and love it so much!!

Other than the obivious Banner statement (which this surely is!), all I can say is:
'It must be a dream come true'

I don't think I even own 1 groat, let along a hand full :o :o :o :o :o

I would have been happy with just one of those.

I can't see the BM wanting those (might be wrong), but I hope you get to keep them.
I'll swop you a Groat for a Stater :D :D :D

:D

Hi.....a groat is four pence half groat two pence, this would have been a massive loss :-\
One time when I was little my mom took us to the petting zoo and let me pet the groats. ;D Awesome recoveries there.

That is just fabulous! I've never seen anything like those before.

Congrats,
Nat

Thanks Bob..... it's hard to put a price on the coins, they are quite a common variety but at a guess I would say no more than a $1000

turn them in?!?! to heck with that! You found them all on different days, and in different places. It weren't no hoard. I'll testify that I was there for each find and they weren't found together! Now, to get on the other side of the pond...

That's just incredible! Congratulations and all the rest.

Here's hoping you get them back eventually! What a wonderful day you've had today!

That is the best pocket spill or coin purse spill I have ever seen and they look to be in great shape. Hope the british museum has to pay you a fortune for them.
