why does most healthcare insurance have to be tied to employment, private or public? For all you guys that rail against "socialism" are you ready to give up your social security and medicare, or state/city provided insurance plans that are paid for by the ones that don't have that luxury?
Actually, Zerocare is going to take away the medicare I paid for all these years, and decide that it's better spent paying for some pervert's sex change than to treat this old diabetic with a weak ticker.
They'll say it's best if I'm left to die so they can save money to pay for abortions and boob jobs.
Again, WHY DOES MOST HEALTHCARE INSURANCE HAVE TO BE TIED TO EMPLOYMENT? Does that make those that are no longer employed due to the great recession unworthy of healthcare insurance?
Tell me one person who was denied treatment. Name one. Everyone can get treatment. There are clinics, even here in the backwoods of Arkansas that offer healthcare where the price for care is based on your income. When I was unemployed for 6 months about 12 years ago, a doctor's visit cost me $10 and meds $4 (regardless of what or how many).
That program is still in place, federally funded, and available EVERYWHERE.
There is no argument about healthcare, it is about wealth redistribution.
