It was warmer here today (Low 40's) but the ground was froze solid. Only places I could dig was in heavy grass, woods and brush. Even that was tough. But I had a great day. Found 6 round balls, one pulled, Two fired three ringers and some melt. Also found a 1925 dog tag, 1918 wheat cent and a 1882 Indian head penny (my first). I will hit it again tomorrow froze or not. Sorry the pics aren't better. Thanks for looking IMG_20150117_173841976.jpgIMG_20150117_174333266_HDR.jpg

nice, like the IH and the dog tag

Gotta luv them tags.

Always admire the pluck of diggers who tough it out in harsh conditions, nice finds! Cheers!!

Congrats on your first IH penny. Like the bullets as well.

Nice saves, looks like you might have a camp or picket post with the melted lead there.

Nice saves, especially for the time of year. I got and and dug in the tundra myself yesterday, hard work but definitely better than sitting and dreaming about it. Love the IH, my first old coin was an 1893 IH, but those are some great other finds as well. Good day!!!

Congratulations on the nice finds!
