Howdy there Tnetters.
I found this button last week on an old forgotten homesite here in nowhere Indiana. From some of the things I've been told I did pretty good but not really getting any sources for info on them. Not had much luck online finding it with this backmark. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thx in advance!!!

I must have posted this in the wrong forum. Which one would be the best to get some info on?

Nice button! Not an expert, but the backmark says "Imperial Standard"?

I recommend the What Is It? forum for better exposure.

Yeah I've found info on the backmark, it's the button I'm not finding much on. Timeframe and such.

war of 1812
Have you seen one before ticndig? Other's are telling me the same, maybe a lil' later . I'm really looking for some reading material on them. Any suggestions?

I've not seen that exact one. the button back mark '' Imperial Standard'' . the War-of-1812 interrupted imports from Britain, and US customer boycotting against British-made goods lasted into the early-1820s .
And then again I may be wrong , it happens .
