I met up with Batch this morning for a hunt. It started out slow but the last hour or so I found some luck. Only two of the coins have a readable date ,one is a 1921 50 phenning and the other is a 1852(Ithink that is what it says) 1 kretzer. It was a lot of fun but I had to head home after a few hours.Hope to be out again soon. Happy hunting. :)

Nice hunt Bman and good you got out with Batch! ?I emphasized interest in a trip to the Idar area to management and it's under the "noted" column. ?Not much going on there right now. ?I hope to get there before it freezes. ?HH, Mike

Mike ,I told Batch that you might be heading this way somtime this fall. I hope you get a chance before the cold hits. I think Frulinberg would be a great place to start.

Cool stuff, tsgman

I think they were shot from bombers,B 17s and 29s most likely. I have found black tipped also.

Very nice finds!!! I don't know, but I would imagine with the history over there, the next coin you find could be centuries old. I hope it's a gold coin. WTG!! HH

I keep hoping for a real old coin, the oldest so far is 1850 .3 miles up the road is a village that was settled in 1090. :) There has to be some real old stuff here somewhere.

Really nice finds Bird!

Nana ;)
