Not sure if you all saw it but i was watching Monster Mysteries on the discovery channel and they showed a segment where Sasquach has been proven to exist and he is genetically a human. Some hunters shot two of them in washington state killing one from which they were able to get some dna samples, tested them, and it turned out to be human. They said that 15000 years ago an unknown primate male mated with a common female to produce the species. I thought it was worthy of a post. I wonder how he hunts and what level of intelligence they have. I wonder if they speak some form of a human language. Anyways this happened last november 2012 so farely recent. I believe it was Life Science that did an artical on it but i cant find anything on the internet abt it.

Don't believe anything You see on the Discovery Channel these days.
 

it is not legal to shoot an unknown species.it is just WRONG to shoot at an animal you can't identify [and these were standing on two legs]. if they have human DNA than MURDER charges should be filed.the discovery channel IS NOT a source of accurate information..

Ya apparently the hunter felt horrible after the fact cause he realized as he watched it die that it was very human in nature etc. They said thay burried it with sticks an brush to hide it and never talk abt it again. But later a bigfoot gooroo concinced them to show him the sight and retrieved the samples for dna. It seemed very real and legit to me cause the people actually involved were on the show telling thier story and were excited now that their names will go down in history as those who not only proved the existance if big foot but proved it is a human. I found it facinating and scary at the same time. What if we ran into one while looking for artifacts. Fact or fiction it really got to me and left me wondering and thinking too much.
 

Alright i found it finally on the internet. Just google " dna proves bigfoot in part human". A whole bunch of stuff comes up including the life science research.
 

there are actual laws against shooting bigfoot in Washington State...I kid you not.....

I believe it. Im actually from washington. Ive hiked through the ape caves where sasquach once lived according to legend. I should have looked for stone tools, but that was years ago before i got artifact fever.
 

I know it's real, I was married to one several years ago.

Retired police officer David Paulides did 7 yrs research on Sasquatch, his book Missing 411 describes hundreds, as many as 1500 people missing in state and national parks & forests. Recordings of these 'creatures' were analyzed by a ret. Navy linguist/cryptologist, he concludes they do speak a structured language. All US and state govt agencies deny the existence of these human creatures, and they have no status under the law, no one can be charged with a crime for killing one of them. Efforts have been made to establish recognition and protection under the law, but so far unsuccessfully. Curiously, the federal govt claims they keep no records whatsoever of people missing in national parks/forests. Last but not least, don't believe anything a skeptic tells you, do your own research and decide for yourself.

In Washington State it is explicitly illegal to hunt, shoot, harm or harass a Bigfoot. I #$% you not, this is an actual law in Washington.
 

Well believe me or not I dont care either way. When I was in Florida I saw one. I was driving home from work back in the 80s. There was a bridge that went between 2 lakes. I was on the bridge the speed limit was 45 mph. I always liked looking at the lakes because my friend told me he caught a big bass there. As I slowed down to look at the water I saw a bear on the side of the lake. I had never seen a bear in the wild so I stopped and pulled over on the side of the road. As I got closer just before I parked, I noticed it was on 2 legs. It was a redish brown hairy looking thing. I dont know how tall because it wasnt that close maybe 200 ft away. I watched it standing and all of a sudden it bent over to get a drink. When it got a drink it didnt bend its knees. It bent straight over at the waist and got a drink. It then looked up at me but only moved his head and not his back. Now with that type of flex in its body no wonder nobody can catch it. True story. I then hauled it out of there and told nobody what I saw. Back then it wasnt populated like now. You could actually stand on Hwy 50 and look both ways and see no cars coming. If you tried that today you wouldnt make it across the road.
