Early Campstove/lantern pump

Dug this piece, has plunger & intake holes, probably had rubber reed valves.
tube from pressure tank leads to center hole in 'Dial face', off center hole is a hollow tube. Anyone seen something like this ?? Thanks for looking !!

May be the valve off of an old gasoline torch

I just noticed you where from New Hampshire..Maybe we should hook up some time and hit the dirt before it freezes....I like digging sidewalk tear ups,old carriage roads and so on...

Thanks Creskol, Good lead, now i'm reminded of the pump style coleman lanterns.

I was thinking pump to a gas camp stove, but looks like you've started down that path already. There were/are many other brands you can look into as well. Is anything on that side bit threaded? It just looks like something should fit on there...

Does the piece on the shaft move in and out or spin?
Is it a pump to spin and move air or fluid or the other way around , an engine moved by air or fluid like a steam engine ?

Shaft spins and moves in & out freely, Am giving this green check as stove/lantern pump. Thanks For all your replies! HH to all!

found 4 quarter turn threads for attachment to unit, central hole pressurized tank, tube supplied mix to burner. Green Check!
