I’d like to say I was at the park bright and early but getting there at 4:50am it’s still dark. That’s ok though. Morning is always peaceful with tones in one ear, bird song in the other and not a soul to be seen.

I hit clad all morning and was thinking maybe I’d be ending my day with change. I got a high copper signal 89-91) deep and thought maybe it was an old penny. Flipped the plug and saw green dirt right away and was really hoping it was a large cent. Turned out to just be a button (totally smooth). Given the huge knife impression in the dirt cavity behind it, it’s probably a good thing as I would have trashed anything flat. [emoji2359]

A couple of feet later as I’m preparing to end my day, I hit that bouncy 50-70 but clear tones signal I saw last week. I managed to get my reward out of the side wall without nicks and ended my day with a ‘49 quarter.
