This was found in an old house in Cold Harbor, VA. One flag has the Virginia state seal, and I can't identify the other flag. Appears to be copper or bronze with a stick pin soldered on the back. Maker's name obliterated by the pin, all visible on back is "Newark, NJ" 1" x 2"

Any ideas?

The other flag shows the Connecticut State Seal. See buttons CT-15A and 15B in the button-book by Alphaeus H. Albert. It shows the CT State Seal's three grapevines inside a curly-edged shield design with a ribbon below it, telling the state's motto.

Edit: Heh. :) Nhbenz and I were typing at the same time. Took me longer because I had to check the Albert book for the specific button-numbers.
