Hello everyone.
Found my second eagle breast plate from the field that I posted about a little over a month ago. I’ve been back there a few times since the original post but didn’t find anything of importance until yesterday’s hunt. This plate isn’t in as good as shape as the first one but I’ll take it any day of the week. One picture shows the 2 plates side by side.

As a CW relics hunter myself, I am jealous. I would love to add a breast plate to my collection. I congratulate you on yours.

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

I was back at the site for a short hunt this morning and found a few keepers.
One of them was a holed Ingle 50 token with the business name of WM B Rosson on the front. I was able to search and found that he had a supply company in Fredericksburg, VA.

Does anyone know what the round “plate” thing is ? I searched some options but couldn’t find anything looking like it. It’s 2 1/4” in diameter. It appears that a strap would have gone through the clasp on the backside. Possibly a horse strap ?
