I would stick with the factory coil. that coil is a good all around coil. if he's going to hunt trashy areas
try a 6 inch excelerator coil

Coiltek joey coil 10x5 inch has the advantage of picking out good targets in trashy areas because it is a narrow coil, whilst still covering nearly the same area as the standard coil which is too wide. It is light and gives much sharper signal response. good hunting Neilo
