Minelab Explorer E-Trac, Shadow X 5, Fisher 1266X.
Took my E-Trac across the street to a house yard that I have been searching wor the last three days. The second day I found a 1939 Mercury Dime at 1 inch. I knew that this yard had never been searched with a metal detector before. So Today I went to the back yard where the silver dime was found and walked back to that area. I started seaeching slow and at about 5 feet from the dime area I got a good medium tone on the E-Trac that was about 7 inches deep. After removing the plug, the signal was dead center of the hole. I dug around and pulled the loose dirt out. Checked the hole, no signal. Started checking the dirt pile and saw 3 Silver Walking Liberty Half's staring up at me. Now this was great, rescaned the remaining dirt with my X-1 probe and still had a signal. Moved the dirt around and saw 7 walker's stacked together. After removing all the coins. I filled in my hole, and went back across the street to show my Brother what I had found. This is my Second Sliver Coin Cashe in two years within 2 block of my house. Well, that is my story. HH...Jesse.
