Dumping hard times,

Aieee...there's a lot of bad ideas in this thread.

I definitely would not go in with the "it won't last forever, might as well dump a lot here" attitude. It's just going to make it worse. I'm not sure you have to wait a week or two between dumps, but several thousand dollars at a time without a bag service sounds like a really bad idea.

My basic dump strategy:

I use sealed bags and get cash on the spot for my bags. I dump 3 $500 bags at a time at about 36 branches of same bank chain. I do not go to same branch more than every 6 weeks (1 month occasionally). I have only been shut down at one of these branches over the last 18 months.

When I was doing more volume (18-20 boxes a week), I would occasionally reroll halves & dump those at my other bank, $500 max./dump. I mainly use that bank for CWRs now.

Pretty sure I will be able to keep this up indefinitely - at least until our economy goes all plastic. Hopefully by that point I will have completed my Morgan $ collection from my CRH proceeds! 😋💰

I use bags its the only way to dump!!

What kind of fees are you paying Wells Fargo to dump, Tim? $3 a bag or something?

$4 per bag isn't that bad.

PNC, then? Weird, to pick up and dump back into the same bank.

Pnc sucks, around me they banned me at all surrounding branches after about 300k in halves. I went to my usual branch and they said that corporate sent out a memo about not accepting halves, so I went to several different branches and same story :(

Pnc holds your money for about a week till they count the coins. I tryed its to long to wait.

They pay $2.50 per bag, on average, to have the coin "verified" (AKA weighed) by the armored companies, from what I've been told.

CRH'ing is kind of like the night sky... you have individuals like Tim, who burn bright and fast, like a shooting star, and then burn out because they don't keep the costs manageable for banks.... Then you have those individuals that do 5-10 boxes or less a week and can keep at it for years upon years, like a regular star...

I, for one, am going to let it burn, then switch things up and go back to being a low volume hunter, unless I can work a new dumping solution out, that I won't talk about here because I don't want people ruining that.

LOL you hit it right on the head. I was on here every day for years because I was pounding out boxes. For some time I was searching 20-30 boxes a week. Pulling 2-300 in silver and dumping. Problem was i burned out. I could order from other banks but around here loomis and brinks boxes suck. Garda boxes are the best but you can get them anymore since TD shut it down. I basically just switched to road trips and penny and dime boxes

Thats cool to what ever works its all good theres no rolls in any of my banks just boxes.I wish they all would start charging for everything it would stop most tight crh i would pay what ever and i would do better less dumps!!

I use to have dumping problems but now i spread my dumps with low volume searches. Hey Timzim if you live on the east coast, you can always go to TD bank and open an account there because they have free coin counting machine.

This is ironic because they closed his account because they didn't want to deal with him any more, lol.
