And it was a signal a friend of mine missed. Thursday a friend and I were detecting and old house and we made some good finds, He found a 1765 1/2 reale so today I went over the area were he found it and over one of his holes I got a solid coin signal. I flip up the plug and see what looks like a chunk of aluminum I went to throw it in my pouch and then realized it was a large shell from a mussel and not a chunk of aluminum!!!! Probed the whole and got a nice clear signal dug down a little deeper and popped out an 1805 Draped bust copper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other copper was found today also but is to smooth to tell what it is. Thanks for looking HH
