Dug all the B's Bells, Buckle, Barber, and Braided Hair LC

BadJim and I hit and old farm yesterday and I went across the whole front yard and got nothing but 3 wheats, So I wandered over to the side yard out in front of the barn, the first strip I walked down I got a 6-7" deep 12-46 I was thinking hmmm a silver quarter possibly, but nope, out popped a 1850 Braided Hair LC, I was shocked to say the least. Its always nice to think your digging a quarter and a large cent comes out instead! Couple minutes later I got a solid 12-41, was expecting a wheat, but surprise number two, when I saw a silver, turned out being a 1899-O barber dime

Little while late I got one bell, a buckle then I got the 2nd crotal bell and that was about it there! Jim got a killer shape key date indian but I will let him show that off!

:icon_thumright: Nice finds! Find a lot of buckles like that down South but don't see many bells.
What county do you hunt in Ohio?

Gotta love that etrac I love it when you get a 12/46 and up pops a bent nail lol. love that large cent

Nice finds. Looks like someone was prepared to quarter that large cent back in the day.

A nice lot of oldies! Is that gash on the LC from recovery or was that its natural state? No matter--a great hunt indeed!

LMAO hope your joking on that one, because no hit from a lesche could create that gash!!! it is almost cut in half, at least half way thru the coin, Looks like they intended to cut it in half and possibly quarter it, because there is a line going left to right as well if you look closely
