That is a beautiful thi,ble and I. Such great shape. Mine have always been mashed on at least one side.
 

Beautiful find and glad it wasn't damaged in your recovery. Looks like gold instead of sterling. High on my wish list of finds. HH.

Brilliant find!! I was lucky enough to find a silver thimble once, engraved with the first name of the person who lived at that old stage stop in the 1860's. Finding such a personal item is what I enjoy most about this hobby. It's one of my favorite finds ever. Yours is amazing! Congrats! :-)
 

very cool find!, still chasing that silver thimble, every time iget one and it looks like it might be, turns out to be aluminum

yours is in great shape!
