Dug a really unique late 1700's diplomat button this week

I got out with several buddies for a metal detecting vacation last week, and we dug several nice old sites in south Carolina. Here's a few of my best finds from the hunt. An 1832 bust half dime and a real nice early diplomat button. I know it looks like an early navy but couldnt find it there. Instead it's listed under official diplomat corps buttons naval dept. To tell you the truth I know it's early and I've never seen another one dug like it on any forum before, so it must be a good one. Diplomatic buttons are fairly desirable and alberts lists one similar to it at RV 35. Mines cruder than the one in the book and is not in there .So far it's my find of the year :blob7: Anybody else got one?

Beautiful button there Pete!

Never seen one of those before. :icon_scratch:

That's about as early an eagle as can be dug! 8)
