Drywashing shale/angular rock

Yes. What do you want to know about it?

What is your experience with it? Are there any set up tips you have for working this type of material?

One of the claims to which I have access is all angular rock. I haven't really had to make any changes to my normal routine, but it does seem to be a bit harder on equipment. I noticed a small tear in the fabric on my riffle tray last time I worked that type of material, so I would say to make sure all of the dirt on your shovel hits the classifier when shoveling into your hopper so big sharp rocks don't find their way into your riffle tray where they can do damage. Not sure that is what caused my tear, though. Other than that, business as usual.
