this is big & heavy & eats material at a very good rate
i just re clothed the trays ( theres 4 of them)
the trays are 5 feet long by 2 feet wide
she will need some finishing touches like more welding on the legs & set up
it works great on a small trailer to heavy to move around,,,
& you will have to decide on the power drive ether a 110 motor or a briggs & possibly a feed conveyor would be the cats meow ..
i do have a 5 hp briggs i would toss in for $40

Oak, I sent you a PM regarding this post.

Years back there was a guy selling plans for a DW that used a 120vac squirrel cage blower and a generator. I bought his plans but never did that style. I instead use the gas blower for a couple of years. the squirrel cage blower is the type that is used on furnaces and it provided plenty of CFM!

Russ, I found a site that sells plans to build something as you described, may be the same person ? He is located in Arizona. He uses (squirrel cage blower) out of an evaporative air condition unit and a small gas engine attached to it. I only saw the pictures but I guess his dywasher works the same as the blower type only difference is he is not using a gas blower like those used in (regular) blower style drywashers.

Something like this:

I posted more info on my thread here :
