Cool what happens if you use foil or a pull tab on gold? If you mix gold and foil/pull tab does it mask the gold?

When you have a pull tab, there are 5 levels of discrimination 1-5. As you get closer to 5, the more types of pull tabs get discriminated out and not sound off as gold. At level 4 you still have some pull tabs sounding off as gold. A level 5 non ALL pull tabs sound off as iron. However so do small gold rings. So ig you are looking for a gold watch or something like an oz. of gold then you are ok and your target will show as gold with all pull tabs sounding off as iron. So far from my understanding, this unit is for larger targets so that the smaller trash targets can get discriminated out proper.
