As the cost of drones continue to drop there is no doubt police and other law enforcement agencies with use them. Many already have what are basically expensive remote control mini helicopters. All the more power to them. Border patrol should be using them, search and rescue should be using them, etc, etc. but there will always be those (many times older people) who will fear new technology no matter how many lives it might save.

I am older, I have no fear of technology, I have been installing and working on the latest technology for years, working fiber optic, help build the internet, installing and working on voip systems as well....

I agree picker. Problem is I don't know what good using them along the border would do. We don't enforce the immigration laws anymore so what's the use? We just waste money monitoring, chasing down, arresting, feeding and then driving them back to the border with no "punishment". We could lay off the border patrol and save money.
