Some more finds from the same field

all found alongside a freshly dug natural gas line at a bend in the creek. The aerial pictures on Google Maps were taken during the construction, showing all the temp. roads that were cut in and the spoils from the trenches. Researching the area before heading out that day paid off...

yeah google maps is great i use it a lot to look at possible locations, i also use it a lot to pinpoint areas to dig wild roots goldenseal, cohosh etc. too thats how i make part of my living. I've also tried using it to spy on famous actresses but so far no luck i dont think they ever leave their houses :dontknow:. Although I have spots like gas line clearings and right of ways. 4 wheeler trails, erosion on roadsides etc. I just can't seem to stop digging where i am now in several logging clearcuts. But from time to time i need a change and seek out spots like those you mention or to hunt a creek or a cornfield etc. Goes to show your a serious hunter and its paying off good luck out there
