Were having spring already down here...everyone Commented yesterday how clear the water was, and how inviting it looked yesterday. Never really got cold until last week when it briefly hit 40, and had 50s-60s for a couple days.....now we're back in the high 80s. Have dive trips planned for the 17th-22nd, then another set of dive trips in March. Water was 68 inshore, and 73 offshore. In the meantime I've been sail fishing.....wooooo hooooo !!

Also found a ballast mound/shipwreck the last time I dove about a month ago....I have to go back and check the red circle, and see if there are coins there solidified to the ballast rocks....something is there to look at more carefully. Just been using a shorty wetsuit, and that let's me stay in the water for a couple hours at a time. Was lucky enough to get some nice shells also last dive !!

We used to get a lot of sails south of Sebastian inlet in the early spring. Sometimes we'd raise 15-20 fish a day and maybe land 5-6. All on light tackle and release them all. Great fun to watch them greyhound across the water. They're still there, just I'm not fishing anymore these days.

7 degrees.?? That’s nice weather. I would detect all day in that weather. Try minus 42 degrees “Celsius”, that’s what the temp here was the other morning, and I work outside.
That's why "birds" go south for the winter! :laughing7:

Heated way up to near 30F. here today.
Got the oven smoking away on self clean mode , and the sliding door opened a little.

7 degrees? Time for Playstation 5 and beverage of your choice
