Dozen Golden Eggs from Magical Chickens ?

A few years ago I bought a large pack of ground chuck at Wal-Mart. I didn't notice the price until I got home and saw the ticket. About $30.00. And it wasn't all that big. That was an expensive pot of spaghetti.

Jeff, you should have a freezer full of deer meat there. All you need is some veggie oil and seasoning.

I wish, but i don't hunt . would be too expensive starting from scratch.

I can't stomach store-bought eggs since I've been growing my own daily for the last 15 years - light browns and huge!

Funny, some folks won't touch brown eggs, many store-bought are dyed before market, so...
I sell for $1.50/doz, which is close to the going rate here. Break-even on feed cost.

Sams Club the other day...
Milk 4.25 gallon
2 pack Arnold bread 3.68
Eggs 18 pack 2.28
