Dowsing what is that

Read a disbelieved dowsing story, in a disbelieved dowsing forum. Just go ask bigfoot to prove dowsing for the curious..

Good advise. Both are about as real as the tooth fairy.
 

It's a little hard to understand, there's more than cotton balls, and rubberbands..

By this, you mean high energy RF and Microwave fields, correct? To do that, properly, you'll need some new gear, starting with a wideband, properly calibrated field probe:


That one probe covers 10 kHz to 10 GHz, and in order to cover that much bandwidth, you'll need a couple of spectrum analyzers.

The probe, alone, will likely run you over $10,000, but you can pick up the sig. analyzers used.

With this equipment, you'll have very accurate, repeatable, scientific data to present, and won't have to try and explain the voodoo of your dowsing.

No, I didn't say what they were, you assume wrong. It's no longer treasure dowsing related if I answer.. sorry I cant..

Dowser, if you enjoy doing that type of signal survey, there is a whole new business in this for you.

Many people today are concerned about EM fields around their homes, and most would no doubt be willing to pay a few hundred dollars for a proper survey. Mount your analyzers and other gear inside a van, and with the fiber optic lines the probe can be as far as 100m away.

Test a number of locations around the property, print 'em out a report, explain it to them in English, and collect your check.

Seriously, this is the best damn business idea I've had in years...

Block them, in case their there, you don't need me.. Just put 2 inch styrofoam under your mattress, sleep without wory.. I'm gonna get hit for that. I'll have to delete it soon..
 

If I told you what these 5 devices were. I'd be kicked so far out of here.. I know I don't know everything, how would someone know everything? Dowsing was the wrong platform to be posting in, my mistake. I get kicked out of physics groups.. You don't need to know, because, you wouldn't believe it.. Treasure dowsing only, see ya..

That's derentis...two inches of styrofoam isn't going to do block (or absorb) diddly....those signals will pass right through and won't even know it's there.

Not an engineer, but when it comes to RF shielding I know what I'm talking about.

Ya got my interest...tell us more. If they're devices used in locating targets I see no reason for you to get any heat over it.
