Two and a half hours this afternoon at a Baltimore Co. rec field (home to the British coppers) and I gridded part of an end zone and part of a sideline on the the same field. $4.38 in clad, two Yale lock keys, two older brass items, one a buckle, and then two silver rings, one marked '925 LA' and the other 'STERLING'.

Nice finds. That Sterling marked ring is a cool design. Congrats!

Nice finds MCD, Congrats on the double silver, I'd be happy to find at least one piece of silver this year... Lol "D"

Fun hunt!
I found one of those stirrup rings once. Almost exactly the same. Nice!

Thanks Whadi! Appreciate the id of the one ring; I didn't know what to make of the design.

Thanks Treazurehunter! Good to get out for a couple hours. More to grid on the side with the two rings, so maybe there's more.

Thanks Possum! Here's to some "Dixie" silver coming your way soon.

Thanks RVRoamer66! That sideline was loaded with clad, obvious to me that it has not been detected.

Happy to see that you are not in my CW field every weekend, leave something in case I get back there

Nice rings, congrats! :occasion14:

I'd have a blast in a Civil War field. Hope to clean this place out in a couple years.

Thanks Professor! I find the silver rings and other jewelry tend to ring up a little higher that a Memorial, so, pennies I will dig. Equinox 600.

I mean Smokey’s pa farm

That field was awesome. Been there once and had some memorable finds. Aside from the minie balls, the seated quarter just sticking out of the dirt was my favorite find that day.

Nice rings, well done!

Very nice finds. I found a silver 925 AL recently. Do you know what the AL stands for?

Thank Al.relics! So far from this rec complex the silver pieces have come as 2 silver rosies, and the rest as jewelry items: 3 rings, St. Christopher medal, earring, and pendant.

Thanks Kona Koma! There is a line of jewelry through LA Rocks but I have not been able to make the link. This is the closest to solving the "LA" makers mark.
