I can't say I don't agree with these new texting laws while driving.. It seems like everytime I go anywhere I see a half of dozen people texting while they are driving.. Just does'nt seem like it's worth putting your life and veihicle or anybody elses for that matte at risk.

I had a cop pass me in a 35 zone yesterday, I was doing the limit...I look over, and this 'officer' is eating something with one hand, trying to text with the other...
then the cop almost rear ends the guy stopped at the red light.

put the phone in the glove box, or to quote click an clack...HANG UP AN DRIVE.

It's always been like that everywhere. Even without the new laws, here in ohio the passed a state wide ban and only giving out 13 tickets. But yeah they will charge you for txting then a accident, just like looking at a house then rear ending someone. Ahh crap I wish I could remember what it was called.

I personally don't have to worry about it, The first time I layed in Bed
and immediately got a text, and it was from ATT offering me some type of deal,
I called them and had them Remove any ability for anyone to Text me ever again.
Or for me to text out either.

now if i could just get these spam calls to stop

"The Same Thing "law? Just kidding.. I think it is not up to the state to regulate it. But it irks the mess out of me to be behind someone going 10-20 Mph under the speed limit and texting or even talking. Remember the times when people would read the newspaper in the car? a book? Make up, eat, pick their nose? I passed a lady like she was sitting still the other day( because she nearly was) writing something in a durn notebook.. Maybe she should get a durn smartphone and use it as a recorder? mmmmmmMMM. People.

But most of those all fit under distracted driving, there is no need for another one.
