Sometimes, on a walk, one just has to go for quality over quantity. Didn't find all that much in keepers but....somehow? I feel *VERY* satisfied. ;)

Couple interesting pieces.

You see? Not much.

But...as Blingie is pulling everyone off to his treasure chest. (Wasn't going to take no for an answer on this one!)

Can't say I blame him. What's not to like? 14kt...Italian gold. About 23 grams....

Yeah......very satisfied!

Ahhhhhhhhhh.......

Thanks for taking a peek folks!

Great selection of finds Whadi, gold and silver in the same hunt too! :occasion14:

WIF... I found it. :P

Well done. :)

Awesome! Congrats, nicely done.
Blingie is happy, I guess he is giving the penguin a free pass on the ring. Is it silver?

Nice finds buddy, did you test or get that Italian gold tested?

Tested, retested and now rested. :) Why do you ask?

I mentioned above that it passed the acid tests with flying colors. :tongue3:

And I didn't even need to stumble in any corn! ;)

Wow, that's a lot of gold! Congratulations!

Oh I didn't see where you mentioned that, I only asked because Italian gold has always been the "red flag" to fake gold. I'm sorry if I was being negative or as they say, raining on your parade, I just know if I had found anything marked Italian gold I'd be suspect of it. If I had read anywhere in your thread or OP that you had tested it I would not of asked. Congrats on a nice productive "walk" I'm glad you found gold (my favorite)

No harm, no foul! I wouldn't worry about the one responsible for my Indian name. :tongue3:

Funny about your experience with "Italy Gold" though. I've found several pieces marked as such over the years. But I've had the opposite experience. Whenever I sold them or had them checked? They've always proved to be of a higher quality gold content. :dontknow:

I do my own testing, (don't trust others to tell me). But then, I always have it checked by a trusted jeweler friend of mine. If I do go to sell I *know* what I truly have on hand. :)

Thanks again!

Hey Whadi...you never know what you might find on your “walks”... what did that little gem ring up on the old ATP? I suppose Blingie dragged that unit off to try on! I bet that made the “walk” back to the homestead a little easier lol... Good to see you score some great stuff. Ddf
