Don't get left behind on silvers low $$

I have been dumping big bucks on silver and gold you can't lose in the long run? No one knows how long it will take for silver and gold to pop back up but it will.I was buying silver in the hi 28 to 33 range and now UNDER $20. Back up the truck. I will keep on stacking while its so low. I would like all you crh and stackers to add what you can to your pile. Am going to order one more monster this week am just trying to grab it close to $19 every penny lower is $5 off the cost of the monster. I got about 15 ben proofs on sunday for $8.60 And 40 40% for $3.15 each And $25.00 face bens and walkers for the same $8.60:occasion14: 8-)

did I read that right TimZim? you got 15 benjamin half dollars for just $8.60? That's only 57 cents apiece? God if that is true wow, nice deal. I just went to a LCS and they wanted 25 bucks for each bullion coin and they suckered me into buying 2 half dollars for 18 bucks. Definitely thinking about buying from Provident or Gainsville. Just need to get enough money saved up for it.

Sincerely, GarouLady
That was each!$8.60

If memory serves correctly, gold eagles are 90% gold just like the circulating gold coinage that was stopped being made in the 1930's.

Nope, .999 24kt Gold. I believe that TimZim is referring to American Gold Eagles, not Libs or Indian Head coinage.

Wrong. my redbook states that all American Gold Eagles minted from 1986-2008(my redbook is a little out-dated), but let's assume from 2009-2013 the composition remained the same(which I can almost guarantee they did not change the composition) their composition is:
91.67% Gold
3% Silver
5.33% Copper
This means that the $5 eagle has 1/10 ounce of pure gold in it, the 1/4 eagle has 0.25 oz gold, the 1/2 eagle has 0.5 oz Gold and the eagle has 1 oz.
The $50 1-oz Gold eagle is actually 33.931 grams.

You were wrong, you were likely thinking about the 24kt .9999 Gold buffalos which are DIFFERENT than the gold eagles.

You don't lose anything till you sell !!! I have 9 years till am 65

I bought quite a bit at about 30 an oz. but just like i told my near suicidal coworkers when the stock market dropped in half and there homes lost half their value after the housing bubble "you havent lost anything unless you panic and sell". All this drop in silver means for me is my investment is going to take a little longer to turn profit. AND it actually gives me an opurtunity to make more buying on the dip. Does anybody really believe the economy or the dollar is in any better shape because of QE? I for one do not. People make things to complicated. All you have to know is there are barely any good jobs out there and everyone in this society is more and more dependant on government assistance. Not exactly a reciepe for success. One day the house of cards will come down and PM/commodities holders will be sitting pretty :)

You only plan on living 'til 65 lol.

Silver is taking a bath this evening. Down to 18.74 as I type this Tim. We'll see how it is by the Friday.

That said I picked up 3 morgans, 2 walkers, and 3 franklins today for 87 bucks. Pretty good deal IMHO even with the price drop. 16 bucks each I paid for the morgs. Plus one dime out of two boxes, so all in all a decent day.

Gold is almost at my buy point.

Exactly, and personally, I like the design of the maples more. Plus that way you have a monster box of ASEs and Maples. You already have 2 monster boxes of ASEs right? Why get another when you can get something that is different and probably a better deal?
No I have 1 and a half boxes and I just ordered 1 more monster spot went under $19 so I ordered it and 2 more buffs. Next time am going for the maples.

I've been selling some on the way down. Sold some Monday before the drop - needed some cash. Sold some last month and paid some bills. Not panic selling but you never lose making a profit! Could buy it all back tomorrow and have more cash in my pocket then when I started. It is all timing. If I had some extra cash I might start adding to it but don't make the mistake of falling in love with your silver stack...

I've wish I could fall in love with it! I've been to easy to let it go, regret selling all the silver I've sold so far :/
Looking to add 100$ or so face value to the stack during this dip :-)
