I never list for other people, I go to their house, help them set up their Ebay account. I help them take pictures and upload them. I help them find packaging and so on so they can ship the item. Takes more time than It would take for me to sell it myself, but I don't have to deal with their BS.
As for the $5 truck, I sold a car to a friend once, I said, "I guarantee it will make it to the end of the driveway, after that, You are on your own. It leaks a bit of oil, I have to put in cooling fluid once a week, I have to... If there is anything I forgot to mention or that comes up after this, I don't want to hear about it unless you want me to pat your back and let you know how bad I feel about what happened to YOUR car." The car made it 175 miles before the engine fell out. He never said a word to me. That's what I call a friend.
