Shelbyville or any yard where the owner will let m
Detector(s) used
ace 250
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I wanted to hit my yard a little more after finding the beautiful
war nickel last night and thought this morning (since its still cool
outside) would be a good time to do it and I think I might have
been right.
No real nice finds to report, the common square nails that I always
find, about a dollar in clad, a few junk pieces of iron, lead and the
always popular aluminum.
Then it happened, I got the DREADED NICKEL/PULLTAB hit the ace
250 owners know so well, but im one who digs every signal and im
glad I dug this one, it is a 1928 Shelby county, ky dog tax# 267, I
live in Shelby county Ky. and that means its a special find for me.
Thats not the end of the story though, around October of last year
I found a square piece of aluminum and its been laying next to the
kitchen sink since. Guess what I figured out it was today? Yup,
another Shelby County, Ky dog Tag, From 1930 #616.
