Went on a short 4 hr hunt in the park today, no silver or gold this time
but found a couple of interesting pieces, one is a dog tag from Shaker Heights,
The name of the dog seems to be "Carter Roe" I tried the number and it's been d/c
and the other is a piece of metal with USS Yellowstone on it, It's very heavy, looks
like it was used for holding keys, pretty cool I thought.
Thnx for LQQking

Awesome tags!!!

Nice finds.

Like the Yellowstone tag. I was stationed in San Diego when the Yellowstone was built. Was built at the shipyard next to the naval station. Had a couple buddies who ended up on its commissioning crew. That was a few years back. It has already been decomissioned. Wow does that make me feel old!
