Military policemen are hated by all other soldiers mainly because of our good looks and wealth. However this does not last long when you break up a hundred bar fights the good looks are no longer there.....
You were an MP? Damn I knew there was something good about you!
Hey Frank,
Look up Royal military police and British airborne or "Paras". When you join the RMP ( as i did in 1977) you are made to wear a red top to your hat ( very distinctive) you are then known as a Redcap, or monkey and many other very inappropriate names by all the crap hats who are every soldier that the Paras consider not able to wear the purple beret they wear. So the Paras call any person without the right to wear their beret a "craphat" because their beret is either crap or shi..y depending on your viewpoint

The only time I remember using my powers inappropriately was when a soldier kicked my police dog so I said he was drunk and arrested him, he was very sober but got fined 100 bucks the next day which hopefully was fair on some level....
As an MP your word on drunkeness was taken as gospel
