If you made calls of any kind, you're a much better expert than me. Ran a quick Google search and it looks like calls of all stripes occasionally used brass reeds. Should have done my homework -- I'll pipe down now. :)

I made them mainly for coyote,but they all mimmick a hurt or wounded animal,and you name it,my calls have called it(predators)I had a few customers in Africa,that used them to call and tag Lions

Sometimes you people can be so stupid. Yet I have been amazed by some of your id's.. This my friends is a reed for an old manual squeeze ball type airhorn. The same one used on model t cars. I have one just like it.

Couldn't get a sound out of it Tim, other than the sound of rushing air. I think that is because the reed is slightly bent up (refer to first pic) allowing too much air to pass through.

I DOOOOOOO feel SO stupid being that we all have a Model T car horn reeds, actually I havvvvvve, hold on, 1, 2, 3, ... SIX of them! Thanks for straightening all us idiots out! ::)

Alrighty then! Model T horn reed it is! I will put it with my rim washer and dust cover. Maybe I will start a Model T parts museum with all the stuff I find. ;D
