does anyone have step by step instructions for programming dfx 300

Ive read and read, cannot find any consistency thou on edit/ block reject etc. All I need is step by step instructions for a good program, gold rings especially, ex) 1, press.....

Because this would take too long here I suggest you look at the manual. You can take the Coins & Jewelry mode and block out everything below Pull foil and everything above dime and your would find 50% of the gold rings. I tried the block edit and couldn't get it right so I individually notched out the areas I didn't want. I found it best to just dig everything around pull tab and couple blocks above and below. Because of the other metals alloyed with gold rings they will have no set number. You could up the gain a might.
