Does a test make a Meteorite

Michigan law states only 25 lbs of Meteorites are allowed to be collected per year.
Without a paid identification test, there is no absolute proof of what is collected.
100 lbs of Meteorites, without being tested or certified, is only 100 lbs of rocks.. No law broken, until a test? Loophole

It’s good to see they have nothing better to do than to crack down on the meteor collectors. Things must be pretty quite at the Statehouse. 😊
