Do your own refining?

I've beeen buying scrap for years, as a by product of my custom design jewelry business.
Any one had good sucess refining their own gold. I have approx 80 oz.

In my opinion it is not worth the expense unless you are going to do it as a business and refine more scrap from others.

80 oz?? sheehs since you will have to have it certified anyway, send it to a custom smelter.

80 oz of scrap jewelry or refined gold. I have a complete shor refining system and assaying business and it actually makes money off of jewelers and miners just offer good services. had a large scale refining business but i sold it to a mexican outfit to do everything inhouse. if i can help let me know.

I was just coming online to check Shor's references. I wanted to see if it's a big come on or if it's the real deal. I'd like to do something like this part time... lil "extra" cash, mebbe get a better detector or something...
