Whites M6
Primary Interest:

Went to Dania Beach this morning, found a variety of stuff. The best find and a first for the Discovery 3300,being a 14k gold and diamond tennis bracelet! Along with that I found the usual few dollars in clad,a Canadian 2 dollar coin (didn't know there was such a thing) and an unidentified foreign coin,a sterling earring with a crystal in it,a toy race car, some kind of hinge,a few nails and a container lock or part of one at least. Also the usual 30-40 bottlecaps and pulltabs.
The day was beautiful and sunny and hot.I detected for about 3 1/2 hours at 2 different locations.I got there just as the sun was coming up.I'll post some pics of my finds and then some of the beach.Have a good one.

Does Florida let bums sleep on the beach.
Im not real proud as long as I got my detector
Ha-Ha good one! I think most of the homeless stick to the little wooded or bushy areas near the exits off I-95.It's easier to get to "work" from there. Most of them are employed as "signholders" at the local exits.BigC is right about the cost of housing down here.I'm looking at land in KY or Tenn. or maybe Ga. for retirement myself.I don't mind the cold as long as there isn't "too much" snow to go with it.What part of Ky. you in?

Really awesome finds!

You ought to have that bracelet appraised, there are quite a few rocks in that.
Depending on clarity it could be worth some bucks….

I can’t wait till spring!!!

Here’s to you finding even more next time!

Wow,this post sat dormant for well over a month, now all kinds of replies! First i'd like to thank everyone for the great replies. With a special thank you to Bergie for the added info. on the bracelet. If I had days like this one everyday, I wouldn't have to work for a living,lol.Stoney56,the religous medal is made of Aluminum unfortunately.I tracked down the black thing that's in the close up of the bracelet with VUSA 7312 on it,it is a security seal from a company in Chile, wonder how that got on the beach?

Hey lonewolfe! Good to see you back! There must be a blizzard blowing in your neck of the woods, your not out detecting. :) Thanks for the reply and it's good to know your still with us here on TNET!
DEMON-I thought i found a toonie? I might need a loonie! :)
Rob-thanks for the reply
I figured out why i'm getting replies on old posts.....it's a mighty cold up north and all over right now, eh!!!! Too cold to be outside detecting, huh? ;D ;) Thanks everyone,Take care and stay warm!!

Didn't anyone tell you those cheap BH detecters are no good? ;) :D I picked up a 3300 recently for a car take along detector and it really does quite well. I think you need to work on your ground balance to eliminate the chatter on the wet sand. Experiment with it a little and it should get better at least. GB is kinda' trickey for me. Great finds!
